Play it Again’ is our personal collection celebrating the power of the tune! Melody is the heart of the traditional music we grew up with, and each tune keeps alive a fragment of cultural heritage, reflecting the communities that created them and those who cherished and passed them on. Their adaptability and diversity ensure their continued relevance for generations to come.

Many of the melodies in this collection were dug out of collections spanning the past 300 years, and the tunes themselves may be even older. There are also some modern tunes by contemporary composers - new tributaries to the carrying stream - mixed in with a few of our own.
